Brooke Burns began her career as a model at the young age of 15. By the time she was 16, she was already incredibly successful in this challenging field, gracing covers of popular fashion magazines in Europe and the United States. Burns appeared to be a natural model, with a body that men admired and women envied. Despite her early success as a model, she soon moved on to the world of acting. Initially starring in commercials for products such as Mug Root Beer and for other popular restaurants, Brooke soon was noticed by leaders in the entertainment business for her impressive acting skills.

Her first television role was in the teen sitcom Out of the Blue, which was filmed on location in Sea World of Orlando. An innovative series, this show was filmed in both English and Spanish, with an exclusively Latino cast with the exception of Brooke Burns. Though this show inspired many fans around the world, it only lasted one season before being cancelled in 1996 due to poor distribution. Following this venture, she was spotted in numerous guest appearances on series such as Conan and Mortal Combat: Conquest. Burns also enjoyed the success of the popular television show Ally McBeal, guest starring in eight episodes as Jennifer Higgin.

In 1998, her well-deserved big break finally came by way of a role in the series Baywatch. Initially turned down at auditions, she was later called back for a recurring role as Jessie Owens. Brooke Burns was in a whopping 46 Baywatch episodes before leaving the show for understandable personal reasons. Starring in one of the highest rated television shows in history, Burns was virtually guaranteed success. Appearing in guest roles on innumerable successful television sitcoms and dramas, her acting ability has been demonstrated repeatedly. Brooke Burns has shown that bombshells can indeed be incredibly intelligent.

Following the success of Baywatch, Brooke Burns was cast in the film Shallow Hal. She was selected to play the part of Katrina, a woman who was transformed into a goddess by her boyfriend’s imagination. In this role, Burns demonstrated her ability to cross the line between television and movies, a feat that very few actors are able to accomplish. Though this role was relatively small, this was an important factor in future success, leading to roles in later movies such as The Salon and Single White Female 2: The Psycho.

Throughout her career, Brooke Burns has been invited to appear on a number of talk shows, including The Tony Danza Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, and The View. She has captivated audiences with multiple appearances on Live with Regis and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. As a guest on TMZ on TV, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Burns has continued to build her fan base with her beauty and elegance. In addition, her participation in reality shows such as Fear Factor and Battle of the Network Stars has shown that Brooke Burns is indeed a woman capable of maintaining permanent star power.
